Associate - Accounts & Finance
Key responsible areas
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions
- Excellent knowledge on Tally ERP 9 (tally with GST, Tally Accounting, Inventory Management, payroll management, bank reconciliation).
- Should have an excellent knowledge on the FEMA guidelines and the related activities.
- Should manage, facilitate and maintain a clear report on the inward and outward remittanes.
- Track the company’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
- Ensure there are clear reconciliation processes for Cash & Bank transactions
- Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company.
- Research and analyse financial reports and market trends.
- Should have an excellent knowledge on the financial MIS reports.
- Prepare & review financial data reports and budgeting reports annually and monthly.
- Prepare the GST return filings and also responsible for the book keeping.
- Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
- Administration of petty cash, ensuring correct procedures are followed for payments.
- Maintain records for audit and prepare for audit visits and liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Contract external service providers for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary
- Ensure there are effective processes for the payroll, payment processing, credit collection and all the statutory compliances.
- Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
- Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.
- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
Key qualifications
- Educational qualification - B.Com, MBA – Finance & Accounting.
- Job experience - minimum 5+ years’ experience working in similar roles.
- Knowledge of budget management and accounting techniques.
- Knowledge on wide range of computer applications including financial management systems.
- Excellent ability to write financial reports, keep accurate records.
- Ability to use clear language to communicate information unambiguously.
- Should be open -minded, self -evaluative and adaptable to changing circumstances and new ideas.
